Lios enchim aniavu!
I am a first generation student currently pursuing my M.S. in Natural Resources Conservation and Management with an emphasis in Wildlife at the University of Arizona. I graduated Humboldt State University in 2017 with a B.A. in Native American Studies: Environment and Natural Resources and minors in Wildlife Biology and Rangeland Resource Science. Some of my primary goals are to uplift the importance of place based science and traditional ecological knowledge in conservation and to empower Indigenous students to participate to get involved in ecology and research. I am a cultural participant and descendant of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and a relative of the Kumeyaay Nation.
